MEET STEVEN EPPLE
Proven Leadership With Over 30 Years of Public Service and Community Commitment
Steven Epple has proudly called Stafford County home for over 35 years. As a father of children in Stafford County Public Schools, he understands firsthand the challenges families face—especially when it comes to school transportation, communication, and student safety. His decision to run for the School Board is rooted in lived experience and a lifelong commitment to public service.
Steven has spent over three decades as a first responder, serving in leadership roles and specializing in school safety as a School Resource Officer. His community involvement runs deep: a 15+ year volunteer with Stafford County Fire and Rescue, a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters, and a youth coach with Stafford Baseball and Soccer Leagues. He remains actively engaged in our schools as a PTO member at Rocky Run Elementary and member of Colonial Forge High School PTSO (was a PTA member at Gayle Middle).
Throughout his career, Steven has been recognized at the local and state level for his efforts in education, youth safety, and community leadership. He brings experience, integrity, and a hands-on understanding of what our schools and students need to thrive.
